About Schambert Military

My name is Christophe Schambert .
As a professional photographer based in Pas-de-Calais in Hauts-de-France and passionate about military history, I create posters and books dedicated to the vehicles, places and events that marked the Second World War — in particular the Normandy landings.

Schambert Military was born from a desire: to preserve and transmit the memory of historical sites, iconic military vehicles and the men who participated in History.

Through photography, visual reconstruction and publishing, I explore and document this heritage to share it with enthusiasts, collectors, museums and model makers.

What Schambert Military offers

Images & Photography

Photographing the remains, memorial sites, historical landscapes and restored vehicles linked to the First and Second World Wars in France. The objective: to show the places and objects as they are today, while preserving their historical significance.

Visual creation & reconstruction

Using the latest digital tools to bring iconic military scenes back to life with rigor and respect, in a powerful and immersive graphic style. These images complement photography by offering a more narrative and evocative vision.

Publishing & photo books

For me, the photo book is a true culmination. After a rigorous selection process from my image bank, I publish beautiful books dedicated to the Normandy Landings and other historical landscapes. They are aimed at enthusiasts, the curious, but also at those who wish to pass on this history through images.

A visual memory approach

My goal is not just to offer decorative images, but to create visuals that convey, document, and honor this military and human heritage.
Every poster, every print, and every book is designed with this in mind.
